Supporting our urban forest takes leaders like you.
West Lafayette Tree Friends is a governmental non-profit, with a mission to prune, plant, and protect our urban forest. We could not do what we do without our donors, volunteers, and members. Our members participate in decision making for the organization, help organize events, fundraise, educate, and approve budgets and spending. We also have several committees that you can serve on that help West Lafayette Tree Friends move forward. Thanks to leaders like you, West Lafayette Tree Friends can grow into the future.
Interested in being a member? It is easy and fun! Anyone can become a member after attending at least six monthly meetings annually, including any of our committee meetings. Members provide guidance on initiatives and financial allocations at our public, monthly meetings, and elect the Executive Committee bi-annually. That's it! How easy is that?
